Our Geoduck Grading System
We understand that the quality of geoduck lies in its color and size, and this understanding is reflected in our unique grading system.
Grade #A Geoduck
Our Grade #A geoducks feature a light-colored shell and neck, with a neck length that matches the shell. These are the cream of the crop, representing the highest quality we harvest from our family farm.
Grade #B Geoduck
A little darker or yellowish in color, our Grade #B geoducks may have slight blemishes but still offer great taste and texture.
Grade #C Geoduck
Although darker, our Grade #C geoducks maintain a good neck length, ensuring their place in our quality lineup.
Grade #BBF Geoduck
Weighing less than 0.7 pounds, our BBF-grade geoducks are smaller but still pack a punch in terms of flavor.
Quality Assurance
At Net Venture Farms, we have a strict policy against selling geoducks that have very little necks or are extremely dark in color. Occasionally, there may be some broken geoducks in each shipment, usually less than 10 pounds per shipment. However, we ensure these are the exceptions, not the norm.
